Beach day

Did nothing special today just a visit to southsea beach.It was very warm and there was plenty of people about enjoying the beach.The beach is stony but that did not matter.I could have stayed longer but had to get back jobs to do .

August bank holiday

Went to southsea today besides the funfair,they had there a kite festival and dog show.Weather was good and southsea was packed with people enjoying themselves.Feel free to click on my flickr photostream at the top of my first page. 

Victoria country park

The chapel from the distance

Went for a 3 hour walk around victoria country park this afternoon.Some of the park is wooded and some open grass area to play on. One part is a cementry which has deceased service personel from when the park was the grounds for a military hospital.The only bit still standing is the chapel which was the centre of the hospital.It is a nice park which many visitors enjoy.

Purse stolen

Heard today the mother in law had her purse taken from her bag. Roughly £100.00 was in the purse. It makes you feel sick when somebody picks on a 70 year old pensioner who can not afford a lot.Thanks to the sainsbury supermarket staff who helped her in her time of distress.

Sporty day

I was in an energetic mood today so off to play ten pin bowling in the morning.Had a light lunch then off to do a couple of hours swimming,so i still got wet even though the sun was shining today after two days of rain.

Robin hood

Today as it was wet stayed in and watched a dvd of robin hood the walt disney animated version.I know the story of robin hood take from the rich and give to the poor.I felt like a big kid watching this version very enjoyable.

Oh what a wet one

What an awful day weather wise. Had to go to town today non stop rain got well and truly wet, not happy. At least i am home now in a dry house but the people of Pakistan it will be a long time before they can get back to normal life.And also to think of others in the world where the weather has disrupted their lives.

The grass is getting taller

On one of my few days off i got up thinking yes the sun is shining i will mow the lawn.But before i got the mower out the clouds came out and yes the rain came.I will soon have my own private jungle so if i get lost please come and find me.

southsea promenade

Today i visited Southsea for a good walk along the promenade.It was very windy and very cloudy.I was getting more wet from the sea spray than from any rain.There was still plenty of people around braving the elements even had my packed lunch in one of the shelters.

Chores day

Did not bother going out today as weather not so good.Stayed at home instead and catching up with jobs that needed doing. I have found enough jobs to last me a week that will teach me about putting jobs off for another day. As it is now just after 5.00pm cooking a late lunch or shall i call it tea now.As for the weather they say we are in for very heavy rain and gales tonight, hope it is gone by morning.  

Ten pin bowling

Today i played a couple of games of bowling won both probably through sheer luck.The game is for all ages.There was the teenage girl who was more worried about her broken finger nail,the boys showing off to their girlfriends and making mistakes and the little children doing their best and mum and dad helping them.one thing in common they were all enjoying themselves.

mid hants railway

Today i visited the mid hants preserved railway. the line was officially closed in the 1970,s but is now open as a heritage railway, operating steam and diesel trains, rained a little but did not spoil the day .

This morning i had a walk around Southampton city centre.In the afternoon i went to the local pool for a two hour swim which has made me very hungry and now i am waiting for dinner to cook.  

southampton to hythe trip

Today i went on the hythe ferry to visit hythe england.the boat is about 64 years old built about 1946.when you get to hythe you get this victorian train down the pier into hythe. hythe itself is a very small town which now is mainly closed to traffic.had a walk around the town, park and marina.it was a very enjoyable day aided by my colleague franky she is a great girl to work with.sorry there is no pictures as had so much to carry.  

special needs day out to the theme park

Today i assisted in taking a group of special needs young people to a theme park.we all had a great time workers and young people. it was great to see the young people so happy. they all went on most of the rides.it rained a little but they did not care.

today when i was out i came across this woman who moaned about everything and everybody.did not know

why she was like it but would have liked to talk to her but could not, was she unhappy or what.  at least i could come home to my darling Lisa.

just sitting here slowly waking up now just after 8.00am .i have had my coffee still need to get dressed can not go to work in just my underpants.i am putting a picture up of my 2 dogs buttons and peanut
